Appearances to the contrary, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth; it's just that the end of the semester coincided with our putting our house on the market and my needing to generate 5,000 moderately compelling and entertaining words.
But I've got at least three posts queued up, so after some Toronto and some Milton and some Stratford and some Shakespeare, I'll be back.

We want cat pictures! And pretty house updates! And cheese! Well ok I don't know about the cheese.
House updates and cat pictures! Have a good move!
A portrait of Shakespeare made in his lifetime has supposedly been uncovered.

Sis & Undine:
I'm too sad about selling the house to post pictures. Though it looks terrific, I must say. (I'll be excited about buying a new house, I'm sure--even if it's not, as I expect it won't be, on a Shakespearean street--but we're not buying for at least a year.) But cat pics I can probably do!

Yeah. . . not so much. No time to track down links to all the people who've been challenging this "find," but there's really no reason to think that's Shakespeare other than that some people want it (and everything) to be Shakespeare.
Sounds like there's a lot going on! Have a great time at Stratford. I think our Stratford trip is getting canceled this year because of under enrollment. It is very depressing to me, as that trip was one of the bright spots of my ridiculous job. Hmph.
Good luck with selling the house! That's hard.
