Well, it's been one long party since I turned in my grades 2.5 weeks ago, but now that I've had some time both to whoop it up and to recover from whooping it up, I finally may be out of excuses for avoiding the work that always and eternally awaits.
Unless . . . you think it might be time for me to harrass my cat and post pointless pictures of him on my blog?
Yes! I think it is that time!
Tomorrow to fresh woods and procrastinations new.

What a very pretty kitty!
I have just today become the one-year foster parent of a black cat, too. No doubt I shall soon be posting pics of her for much the same reason that you have posted these.
Awwwwwww! What a sweet face!
Oh god - the cuteness knows no bounds!
So cute, all curled up in a little ball. I hope he's causing just the right amount of trouble.
Hee! Thanks, all.
And Sis: yeah, that first photo is the only one that suggests how small Nero actually is (the pillow next to him is a standard square throw): just some 15 inches from nose to rear. But he does have a large personality.
Love these!
Top photo: He's reciting in his head, from memory, a three-page-long sentence from W.G. Sebald's novel, Austerlitz.
Middle photo: What was that noise in the radiator and what would it taste like?
Bottom photo: "That's not true about Dana Perino and the Cuban Missile Crisis. I must've been dreaming."
Shimmy: I don't know you, but I love you.
