I'd love to have more in-field colleagues, but I've been lucky to wind up with smart and thoughtful people who share similar (pedagogical/scholarly/institutional) values.Flaviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17832765671541392835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27054305.post-26283052600281266662012-05-05T13:37:13.234-04:002012-05-05T13:37:13.234-04:00Follow and visit my blog :)Follow and visit my blog :)Nana's Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16492130182811492558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27054305.post-17349648003006700882012-05-04T17:10:01.935-04:002012-05-04T17:10:01.935-04:00I"m very touched by these posts, Flavia. What...I"m very touched by these posts, Flavia. What a lovely testament to your colleague and your department. I've been musing on it a fair amount, because as you know, I find myself in a department where I really don't have any relationships of this kind to speak of. It's made me realize how much my colleagues are the folks who I collaborate with and whose work I'm in conversation with, not the folks who happen to have offices down the hall. How lucky to have had a close enough collegial relationship to someone that it is such a genuine loss. (Of course, the particular person you are losing is a gem, so I get it especially in this instance).Veralindanoreply@blogger.com
